Chris Creek Sheep

We have a small commercial flock of Katahdin sheep that we run with our cows all summer. Doing this is a great way to utilize every bit of the pasture & it also helps create healthier more nutritious pastures for years to come! These sheep are mostly grass fed, getting just a little grain in the winter to keep them bucket trained.

We chose Katahdins for several reasons. They do not require shearing, greater parasite resistance than most breeds, weather hardy, great lambing ability, & quality carcass yield. Our flock is incredibly docile & friendly which is a very important aspect for us.
